Not much writing these days.  Nice week in NH riding Tom's BMW R27 all over the place.  In Pittsburgh a few weeks with Maisha.  Leaving for Zion in a couple of days.

Been thinking about where to START a story--long winded beginnings.  Sometimes it seems more efficient to jump right into the middle and let the chronologically earlier events emerge as the story unfolds.  Recently viewed (excellent) movie "Before the Rains" STARTS in the middle of an illicit love affair and unfolds from there.  Stories.......Beginings......Middles.....Ends.  ???????
